Cue the Jurassic Park theme song please! This wasn’t a destination wedding - it was coming home for Amber, who grew up right here on O’ahu. Amber and Markus traveled many miles, but this time together back to the island that would unite them for eternity.
Their Wedding took place at Moli’i Gardens in Kualoa Ranch, a tropical oasis remotely looking out on an 800-year-old Hawaiian fishpond. Before the ceremony began, we adventured around Kualoa in one of the Ranch’s jeeps with the Bride and Groom. We went through Jurassic Valley, by the King Kong Skull and even an old Sugar Mill! The day was amazing, and it had only just started.
With the Kanehoalani mountain peak in the background, Amber walked down the stairs with her father in hand; she looked gorgeous! After the ceremony, the party began! Drinks and pupus were passed around, dinner was served and as the moon began to rise the cake was cut.
Amber and Markus’ Wedding was truly a merging of two lives, a life on the mainland and a new life here together on the island. Hawai’i always calls you home and their Wedding was a true representation of the Aloha spirit.
